Manage Auto Sends

Introduction
The Manage Auto Sends page allows users to set up an automatic daily email schedule for their emails. This allows users to set daily reminders to their respondents, such as reminding them to vote, or notifying canvassers what time the volunteering will start. This feature allows users to focus on other parts of the program, instead of concerning themselves about constantly setting an email. This feature works best when paired with a dynamic universe; such as a universe of people who are current scheduled for an Event Activity.
- To access the Manage Auto Sends page, hover the mouse over the Outreach section of the Navigation Menu, hover your mouse over Email Sending, and click Manage Auto Sends in the sub-menu.
Overview
- Auto Send Name - The name of your email send. Note: This is for internal reference.
- Use Email Profile - The email profile that will be used as the sender of the email.
- Use Email Message - The email message that is being sent out.
- Email Subject - The subject line of the email message. This will autofill once an email message has been selected. The email subject cannot be changed here, you will need to resave the email message to change the subject line.
- Frequency - How many times in a row the email message will be sent out.

- Send to Voter Universe - The Voter Universe that will receive the email message.
- Send to Contact Universe - The People Universe that will receive the email message.
- Send to Person List - The Merged List that will receive the email message.
- Exclude people from Voter Universe - The Voter Universe that will be excluded from the Send to Voter Universe selection.
- Exclude people from Contact Universe - The People Universe that will be excluded from the Send to Contact Universe selection.
- Exclude people from Person List - The Merged List that will be excluded from the Send to Person List selection.

- Click the Schedule button.
- Use the Auto Send Name textbox to assign a name to the email. Note: This name is for internal use only.
- Use the Use Email Profile drop-down menu to select the email profile that will be used to send the email.
- Use the Use Email Message drop-down menu to select the email message that will be sent.
- Use the Frequency drop-down menu to select how often the email will be sent out.
- Use the Delay drop-down menu to select the waiting period before an individual will receive a duplicate email.
- Use the Auto Send Time textbox to set the time for the email auto send.
- Use the series of drop-down menus in the Send To section to select at least one universe or list who will receive the selected email.
- (Optional) Use the first 3 drop-down menus in the Exclude People From section to select a universe or list of individuals you would like to exclude from receiving the email.
- Click the Save button.
